Project Comments
	The existing steam plant hotwell, located inside a concrete tank room, had begun to leak and could not be refurbished or replaced insitu.
	JSH Consulting Ltd were appointed as the Trusts project manager, in addition to using in house mechanical engineers we assembled a multi disciplinary team comprising of structural engineer, quantity surveyers & CDM co-ordinators to provide all the necessary professional services to design & manage the project.
	JSH Ltd produced a technical specification for the hotwell tanks and negotiated with the tank specialists to allow the Trust to purchase the tanks direct and then free issue to the successful contractor.
	A design package of specification and drawings was produced for all engineering, structural & builders works and issued for tender.
	The installation works were carried out during spring/summer being the period of lowest steam demand. All the necessary changeover of services from existing to new hotwell tanks were carried out with close liaison and cooperation from the Trust to ensure normal hospital activity was not disrupted.
